Getting Started

Basic Usage

  1. Launch the app to see the countdown to Christmas Day (December 25th)
  2. Tap "Change Theme" to browse and select from beautiful Christmas themes
  3. Tap "Settings" to access additional options and Pro features
  4. The countdown automatically updates every minute showing days, hours, and minutes

Adding Widgets

Lock Screen Widgets

  1. Long-press your Lock Screen
  2. Tap "Customize"
  3. Tap on the widget areas (above or below the clock)
  4. Find and select "Christmas Countdown"
  5. Choose between Circular or Inline widget styles
  6. Tap "Done"

Home Screen Widgets

  1. Long-press any empty area on your Home Screen
  2. Tap the "+" button in the top-left corner
  3. Search for "Christmas Countdown"
  4. Select your preferred widget size (Small or Medium)
  5. Tap "Add Widget"
  6. Position the widget and tap "Done"

StandBy Mode

  1. Place your iPhone in landscape orientation while charging
  2. Widgets automatically appear in StandBy mode
  3. Your countdown is always visible!

Q: How do I unlock premium themes?
A: Tap any locked theme in the Theme Gallery, then tap "Unlock Pro Themes" to purchase the Pro Themes Pack for $3.99. This is a one-time purchase that unlocks all 10 premium themes and removes all ads.
Q: How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
A: Open the app, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchase". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.
Q: Will the countdown work after Christmas Day?
A: Yes! The app automatically rolls over to count down to next year's Christmas on December 26th. It will never be outdated.
Q: Why am I seeing ads?
A: The free version includes banner ads at the bottom of screens and occasional interstitial ads. You can remove all ads permanently by purchasing the Pro Themes Pack ($3.99).
Q: Do I need an internet connection?
A: No! The countdown and themes work completely offline. Internet is only needed for loading ads (free users) and processing the Pro Themes Pack purchase.
Q: Why aren't my widgets updating?
A: Widgets update automatically every minute. If they're not updating, try removing and re-adding the widget, or restart your device. Make sure the app hasn't been deleted.
Q: Can I change the countdown target date?
A: No, the app is specifically designed to count down to Christmas Day (December 25th) only. This ensures accuracy and maintains the festive spirit!
Q: Is there a subscription?
A: No! The Pro Themes Pack is a one-time purchase of $3.99. No recurring charges, no subscription. Pay once, own forever.
