Data Collection Details

1. Identifiers (Device ID)

Collected by: Google AdMob (third-party advertising network)

What is collected:

• Identifier for Vendors (IDFV) - unique device identifier
• Identifier for Advertising (IDFA) - if user grants App Tracking Transparency permission

Purpose: To serve contextual advertisements and measure ad performance

Linked to user identity: No - data is anonymous

Used for tracking: Yes - for ad targeting and analytics

Applies to: Free users only (not Pro Themes Pack purchasers)

2. Location Data (Coarse Location)

Collected by: Google AdMob (third-party advertising network)

What is collected:

• Approximate location (city-level accuracy)
• Derived from IP address, not GPS

Purpose: To serve location-relevant advertisements

Linked to user identity: No - data is anonymous

Used for tracking: Yes - for location-based ad targeting

Applies to: Free users only (not Pro Themes Pack purchasers)

Note: We do NOT collect precise location (GPS coordinates)

3. Usage Data (Product Interaction)

Collected by: Google AdMob (third-party advertising network)

What is collected:

• App launch events
• User interaction with advertisements (taps, views)
• Time spent viewing ads

How We Use Information

Christmas Countdown itself does not use collected data for any purpose. All data collection is performed by Google AdMob for the following purposes:

• Ad Serving: Display relevant advertisements to free users
• Ad Personalization: Show ads based on interests (if ATT permission granted)
• Analytics: Measure ad performance and user engagement
• Fraud Prevention: Detect and prevent fraudulent ad activity

App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

In compliance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, we request permission before tracking your activity across apps and websites owned by other companies.

You can change your tracking preference anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Christmas Countdown

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Information Sharing

Data collected by Google AdMob may be shared with:

• Ad Networks: To display advertisements from various advertisers
• Analytics Partners: To measure ad performance

Data Retention

Christmas Countdown does not store any user data on our servers.

Data collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's data retention policies:

• Ad serving data: Typically 13-26 months
• Analytics data: 14-26 months (configurable)

Children's Privacy

Christmas Countdown is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Age Rating: 4+ (may contain infrequent/mild advertising)

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Your Rights and Choices

Opt-Out of Personalized Ads

• iOS Settings: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Deny for Christmas Countdown
• iOS Limit Ad Tracking: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Toggle "Personalized Ads" off

Remove All Ads

• Purchase the Pro Themes Pack ($3.99) to permanently remove all advertisements and data collection

Data Access and Deletion

Since Christmas Countdown does not collect or store personal data:

• We have no data to provide or delete
• For data collected by AdMob, contact Google: Google Account

Uninstalling the App

Deleting Christmas Countdown from your device removes all locally stored data (theme preferences, purchase status). Data collected by AdMob follows Google's retention policies.

International Users

Christmas Countdown is available globally. Data collected by Google AdMob may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence.

European Economic Area (EEA) Users

For users in the EEA, Google AdMob provides GDPR-compliant consent mechanisms. You will be prompted to consent to data collection when first launching the app.

• All data transmitted to AdMob is encrypted using HTTPS
• No data is stored on our servers
• App runs in iOS sandbox environment
• Theme preferences stored locally in secure UserDefaults

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Significant changes will be communicated through:

Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
